Dishwasher

Overview

As a dishwasher/porter you will be tasked with replenishing items, helping to unload supplies from deliveries and preparing cooking sites. An important function in this role is ensuring a kitchen's compliance with all food procedures and safety regulations. Success in this position will be exhibited by prioritizing tasks that significantly impact customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans and place in proper storage area
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks
• Clean garbage cans with water and bleach
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Supports other staff members when needed
• Stows away and polishes dishes, cutlery and cookware
• Maintains chemical levels and temperatures to comply with safety measures
• Transfers equipment and supplies from storage to work area
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to execute assigned tasks with precision and speed
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Prior work experience in kitchen or cleaning roles
• Excellent time management skills
• Able to stand and move for long periods

Pay Range

USD $17.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
