What are the responsibilities and job description for the Penrose Place - Psychiatric Technician position at CATCH Inc.?

This is a Part-time position, WEEKENDS ONLY!! (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 8AM TO 4PM).
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Psychiatric Technician will assist clients in the day-to-day management of activities and daily living.
BRIEF OUTLINE OF DUTIES
1. Assisting in developing and carrying out individual plans for consumers and in preparing them to make transition to a less structured residential/treatment program.
2. Providing counseling and training for target population.
3. Facilitating interaction among consumers and leading group activities.
4. Assisting consumers with learning and achievement of activities of daily living.
5. Completing all documentation as instructed.
6. Preparing meals and supervising consumers during meal preparation.
7. Taking consumers on off-unit trips in the Community.
8. Transporting consumers in Agency van, must possess a valid PA Driver’s license.
9. Attending monthly treatment team meetings, departmental staff meetings, in-service trainings and any other meetings/trainings as directed by the Associate Director.
10. Provides crisis intervention when necessary.
11. All other duties as assigned by the Associate Director.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONS REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred. Psychiatric experience in either an inpatient setting or an emergency services setting. Valid Driver’s license
