Summary of Performance Expectations:
Performs sleep studies including but not limited to Baseline PSG, Split Night, Titrations, MSLT, and MWT. May provide clinical supervision for new hires and students.
Education & Credentials:
Required
Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an Associate’s degree in Polysomnography or the successful completion of a Polysomnography certificate preferred. Must hold a current RPSGT credential by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and be in good standing. Must register annually with the North Carolina Medical Board as a Polysomnographic Technologist. Must hold a current BCLS certification, with a hands-on component, from the American Heart Association.
