JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary of Performance Expectations:
Performs a variety of administrative support services for the Nutrition Care department. Orders, receives and supervises proper storage of supplies. Control cash receipts. Performs a variety of activities, relating to the safe and sanitary preparation of food, and the delivery of food trays to patients. Performs cleaning and organizing assignments.
Required
Education & Credentials:
High School diploma or equivalent. Computer application skills. Ability to use a calculator. Basic mathematics and record keeping skills.
Preferred
Associate Degree in Business or Dietary Management.
Work Experience:
Required
One year of food service and office management experience. Advance knowledge of software applications (including Microsoft Office; Access, Excel, Word and Foodservice Direct Order or equivalent online program). Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and food service. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbents should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
Preferred
Healthcare experience.
