Catawba Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a Kennel Assistant/Hospital Helper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, clients, and staff. We are a busy small animal veterinary hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care for our patients and outstanding service to our clients. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Primary skills / requirements:
- Cleaning/disinfecting kennels, cages, exam rooms, treatment areas, and hospital equipment
- Vacuuming, mopping, and taking out trash
- Laundry, including washing and folding towels, blankets, etc.
- Stock supplies throughout the hospital
- Help maintain cleanliness in all areas of the hospital including outdoor areas
- Follow hospital sanitation and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
