Retail Sales Associate Part-Time
"The Catawba County ABC Board is excited to announce our continued growth—come grow with us! We currently have Part-Time openings available at several of our store locations across Catawba County." Our stores are open Monday -Saturday 10AM -9PM and you must be able to work a flexible schedule.
We are seeking motivated Part-Time Retail Sales Associates to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, a strong passion for customer service, and experience in sales within a retail environment.

Here are some of the duties our Store Associates preform:
*Retail Sales Associate Duties*
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions
- Stocking and organizing merchandise on the sales floor
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide assistance
- Ability to close and open store and run nightly sales reports.
- Sell products by providing in-depth product knowledge, while ensuring customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol and use discernment in "no sell" situations.
- Assist with fiscal inventory counts.
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries
- Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures
- Utilize basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
*Retail Sales Associate Qualifications*
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred (at least 2 years in a store retail environment). Must be willing to work either day or night shift. Please list all Store Retail Experience on your resume.
- Ability to lift up to 40# and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices
