Our client is seeking a Senior Topline FP&A Analyst to join a high-impact finance team that serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership. This role will own topline financial planning across ARR, Revenue, Billings, and Gross Margin — and will play a key part in an active Adaptive Insights planning initiative. The right candidate brings deep SaaS FP&A experience, strong financial systems skills, and a track record of driving cross-functional projects to completion.
Pay Range - $80-95/hr
6-months contract-to-hire
Hybrid in Palo Alto (preferred) Or Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Topline Modeling & Forecasting
- Build, maintain, and enhance detailed topline financial models (ARR, Revenue, Billings, Gross Margin)
- Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Quarterly Rolling Forecasts (QRF), and Long-Range Planning (LRP)
- Perform monthly business performance outlook and analysis
- Develop and analyze scenario models for pricing changes, new product launches, and GTM initiatives
- Drive quarter-end "Land the Quarter" forecasting cadence in collaboration with Deal Desk, Order Management, and Product Ops
- Financial Systems
- Work extensively with Adaptive Insights (Workday Adaptive) for planning and modeling
- Leverage NetSuite ERP for financial data integration and reporting
- Support improvements and enhancements to topline planning systems and processes
- Project Management
- Lead or support FP&A-related projects including system implementations and process improvements
- Manage timelines, stakeholder communication, and deliverables across cross-functional teams
- Drive execution of topline forecasting and planning initiatives
Requirements
- 7 years of FP&A / Strategic Finance experience within SaaS or B2B software companies
- Strong hands-on experience with topline forecasting (ARR, Revenue, Billings, GTM modeling)
- Proficiency in Adaptive Insights (Workday Adaptive) — required
- Proficiency in NetSuite ERP — required
- Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Strong data analysis capabilities with large datasets
- Demonstrated project management and project ownership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at large, publicly traded SaaS companies
- Familiarity with Salesforce
- CFA or CPA certification
