About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler to support the assembly, soldering, inspection, testing, and rework of electronic and electromechanical products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience working on printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic assemblies, and precision mechanical components. Successful candidates will have strong soldering skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work from assembly drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing instructions.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, solder, inspect, test, and rework electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Install electronic components using hand tools, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Perform SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and through-hole soldering
- Conduct PCB touch-up, rework, and component replacement
- Assemble electromechanical products, modules, panels, frames, cables, and subassemblies
- Perform self-inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Support testing, cleaning, packaging, and process improvement activities
- Work with small mechanical assemblies, including springs, gears, and precision components
- Operate production equipment and manufacturing tools safely and efficiently
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, production, electronics assembly, or related experience
- At least 2β3 years of soldering experience
- Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering
- Ability to read assembly drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation
- Experience performing inspection and rework of electronic assemblies
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working under a microscope for assembly and inspection tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610 certification (current or previous)
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, OEM, or EMS environments
- Experience with PCB assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of electromechanical assemblies
- Familiarity with quality standards, manufacturing processes, and production documentation
