What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Teacher- St. Augustine Prep position at Catapult Learning?
Catapult Learning is looking for a certified High School teacher to positively impact a child’s education at St. Augustine Prep School in Buena, NJ for the '23-24 school year. The teacher will be responsible for providing educational programs and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth. The teacher will be expected to work 3 days a week, about 15 hours per week, with a pay rate of $30/hr.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Attends training sessions, passes content assessment, and delivers designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students through utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.
- Develops and maintains individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
- Ensures supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classroom or to mobile/trailer classroom.
- Establishes and maintains student forms and files as required by Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
- Attends and documents conferences/meetings/trainings with Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
- Maintains inventory of educational materials and supplies.
- Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Current active NJ High School teaching certificate required
- Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening.
- Proficient in MS Office, OneDrive, Zoom, etc.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings.
