Position: IT Specialist Support
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid/Remote – Must reside within 50 miles of HQ for on-demand onsite support)
Clearance: Active Public Trust (IRS Tier 2 MBI) OR Active Secret Clearance
Overview:
Seeking an IT Specialist to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) HSPD-12 Credential Issuance and Maintenance Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) program operations. The selected individual will provide administrative and technical support to Government leadership and contractor personnel supporting nationwide credentialing operations and Administrative IT Support Services activities.
Credentialing & Field Onboarding Support
- Coordinate badging, PIV credential issuance, and maintenance operations utilizing the USAccess system.
- Support field personnel and new hires with initial onboarding logistics, badging setup, and operational deployment readiness.
- Assist with logistics and readiness for credentialing hardware and peripherals (e.g., Fargo badge printers, Light Activation Kits, Mobile Credentialing Units, and workstations).
- Serve as an administrative point of contact for nationwide credentialing site support and program inquiries.
Basic Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Public Trust (IRS Tier 2 MBI) OR Active Secret Clearance
- Location: Must reside within 50 miles of Washington, DC to report onsite to IRS HQ as requested.
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma (or 4 years of directly related administrative, technical, or program support experience in lieu of a degree).
- Domain Knowledge: Experience supporting federal administrative or credentialing operations (HSPD-12, USAccess, PIV badging, FIPS 201, PKI, or FICAM) is strongly preferred.
- Administrative Skills: Strong track record in executive admin support, project administration, meeting facilitation, and field onboarding coordination.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint).
