Manasses, VA Direct Hire Jun 1, 2026
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / PROJECT MANAGER
Data Center Program
Data Center Program — Mission-Critical Construction
LOCATION — ON-SITE POLICY
Manassas, VA (Multiple Sites) — Fully On-Site. This role requires a daily physical presence within active hyperscale data center facilities. Remote work is not available.
ROLE TYPE
Direct Hire, Full-Time | 50 hours/week | Straight-time compensation
About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing engineering and construction services firm supporting large-scale infrastructure modernization programs across the United States. Specializing in mission-critical environments, the company partners with some of the world's leading technology organizations to deliver complex retrofit and capital improvement projects inside live, operational facilities. With a strong track record in critical power, data center infrastructure, and program management, the firm operates with a technology-forward mindset and holds itself to the highest standards of documentation, safety, and customer accountability. The organization is values-driven, emphasizing ownership, proactive communication, and precision in every phase of project delivery.
Job Description
This is not a traditional construction manager role. As a hybrid CM/PM embedded within an active hyperscale data center campus, you will serve as the single point of accountability for both field execution and project administration on behalf of our client and their prime contractor partner. From morning stand-ups to executive status reports, you will own the full lifecycle of daily operations—coordinating contractors, tracking schedules, enforcing safety compliance, and representing the program directly to the end client's engineering and operations leadership.
Success in this role means operating as a polished, proactive, customer-facing leader who thrives in structured, documentation-heavy environments. You will balance competing priorities across multiple stakeholders simultaneously, identify and resolve risks before they escalate, and serve as the trusted face of the program onsite. Every day will look different—you may be reviewing MOP documentation in the morning and walking the floor with an AWS project team in the afternoon.
The ideal candidate is a "new-age" construction professional who is equally comfortable in steel-toed boots and in front of a slide deck. You are organized, tech-savvy, self-directed, and passionate about delivering mission-critical infrastructure that supports some of the most important digital systems in the world.
Duties And Responsibilities
A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent field experience and a demonstrated track record of success in mission-critical environments will be considered in lieu of formal education.
Pay & Benefits Summary
Ready to take ownership of a high-visibility program inside one of the world's most advanced data center environments? Submit your application today—qualified candidates will be contacted promptly. Don't miss your chance to join a team where your leadership, judgment, and technical expertise will make a direct impact.
