This is a contract role expected to run through the end of the year, with the strong possibility of extension based on ongoing project activity. Duties & Responsibilities
- Pull and route low-voltage cable throughout active data center environments
- Install leak detection systems according to project specifications and standards
- Zip-tie and dress cable neatly and professionally to ensure a clean, organized installation
- Run cable on pods and scaffolding at heights up to approximately 6 feet
- Follow installation standards and written project instructions at all times
- Support ongoing controls and BMS infrastructure work as directed
- Maintain clean, organized work areas in compliance with site safety protocols
- Coordinate with controls/BMS teams to ensure work aligns with broader project goals
- Hands-on cable installation experience (low-voltage background preferred)
- Solid understanding of cable routing and cable management best practices
- Comfortable working from ladders and scaffolding at heights around 6 feet
- Ability to follow direction and work independently once trained
- Reliable attendance — must show up on time and ready to work every day
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced job site environment
- Must be able to pass applicable background screening
- Previous experience working in a data center environment
- Exposure to controls or BMS systems
- Fiber cable experience (not required, but a plus)
- Construction site experience and familiarity with site safety protocols
- Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience
