We are looking for motivated candidates who work independently as well as in a team setting. Our tax managers are responsible for the review of complex tax returns, providing advanced technical assistance, tax planning, and research on complex tax issues. This position is responsible for the development and training of staff. Tax managers work closely with the partners in providing innovative tax planning strategies for our clients. Ideal candidates should possess strong leadership skills and a technical proficiency. Candidates must have a positive attitude toward the firm's vision and goals and adhere to the firm's core values and mission statement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or business
- Certified Public Accounting license
- Minimum of 8 years tax experience in a public accounting firm
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in technology
- Ability to manager 3 - 10 staff
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to clients
- Perform technical review and approval of tax returns of any complexity
- Occasional travel required
- Ability to work 55 or more hours per week from January to April 15
