Shift: AM 6:00 AM-2:30 PM | PM 2:00 PM-10:30 PM | Night 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
Overtime (OT) available
Pay Rate: $48.65/hr - $53.75/hr (All Inclusive)
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, patient-centered Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality nursing care within a secure correctional healthcare environment in Chowchilla, CA. Must be licensed in CA. This role is ideal for LVNs who excel in fast-paced, structured settings and are motivated by meaningful, mission-driven work. You will perform medication administration, treatments, screenings, monitoring, documentation, and collaborate with nursing and custody staff to ensure safety, compliance, and consistent care delivery. Requirements
Active California LVN license
Minimum 1 year of recent LVN experience in correctional, psychiatric, long-term care, urgent care, clinic, or acute-care settings
Current BLS certification from AHA only
Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check and full correctional security clearance
Strong communication, observation, and de-escalation skills
Skills and Competencies

Travel Contract Details
6-month assignment with potential for extension
