Territory Account Manager - B2B
Location: Orlando area - office, travel, and some home-based work.
Territory: Florida, Georgia, S. Carolina, N. Carolina
Travel percent: 50% or so

Work type: a lot of account management plus "hunter" type sales. There are many accounts in the pipeline and many qualified leads. With the size of the territory, visiting existing customers/targets will be a significant part of the job.
There is a full team of engineers, inspection personnel, logistics, etc, to back you up
Compensation: $75k and uncapped commission. OTE is approximately $130,000.
A global manufacturer of fall protection/safety company needs a person to manage the territory representing a line of custom engineered and manufactured safety / fall protection solutions and products. Company offerings include inspection/engineering services, training and custom products.
Serving:
Construction, power/utilities, mining/cement, manufacturing, warehouses, more.
Key Skills/Similar:
- Experience with B2B technical engineered products
- Experience with sales and account management into construction or appropriate commercial/industrial
- Able to travel and both handle account management and new sales
- Able to/comfortable with going to sites, climbing on roofs, etc
Position:
- B2B outside sales - Combination of consultative sales and account management
- Work with company-provided qualified leads and customers; find some of own, pursue all
- Work with company methodology and system - extensive training provided
- Must "sell"/represent company inspection, engineering and training, not only products
- Perform site surveys to address ANSI (and OSHA) compliance issues
- Prepare detailed quotations for site-specific engineered products to address issues
- Work with company engineering, inside sales and logistics to deliver a seamless experience
- Resolve issues such as shipping/logistics, credit, engineering, etc, that get in the way
- Leverage construction tracking tools and market analysis to generate new business.
- Track all relevant activities in CRM (training provided)

Requirements:
- Experience working with and hitting or exceeding sales goals in appropriate subject area
- 4 years of experience selling; significant amount B2B
- Skilled with technical/consultative selling - so find value, not just price.
- Excellent communication skills - on sites, with customers, in presentations, etc

- Energized by both in-depth account management and "hunter" type sales.
- Provides solutions to a customer that is a value to them and best margin for company
- Enjoys being independent: digging into numbers, writing quotes, presenting to customers
