Responsibilities and Duties

·       Provide one-on-one care and treatment for patients as directed by licensed Catalyst Physical Therapy providers, referring Physicians, and Lead Physical Therapy Technicians.

·       Prepare and supervise patients for treatment and exercise protocol as directed by licensed Catalyst Physical Therapy providers.

·       Demonstrate and operate simple to complex movements on machines, equipment, and other devices. 

·       Intelligently and eloquently educate basic human anatomy and physiology concepts to patients.

·       Directly support Catalyst providers during all daily administrative, logistical, and operational requirements.

·       Conduct continuous risk assessment and management during patient treatment.

·       Manage Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personal Identifiable Information (PII) by physical and virtual means while remaining in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 HIPAA and all governing bodies.

·       Upkeep and maintain workspaces as applicable.

Qualifications and Skills

·       Ability to communicate effectively to patients and staff.

·       Ability to grasp complex concepts and appropriately educate patients.

·       Ability to lift loads up to 80lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or an exercise-science related degree

Experience

·       Health Related field: 1 Year

·       High-School Diploma or GED equivalent

·       Associate’s Degree or higher
