POSITION SUMMARY:

The Application Specialist is responsible for all aspects of PET/PET CT and SPECT/SPECT CT imaging software application training, installation, and issue diagnoses and repair from internal and external customers for Catalyst MedTech.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                          

  • Provide technical support by assisting field service engineers and external customers to resolve applications related errors.
  • Work with the team to efficiently use all imaging equipment through unique configuration and software applications to meet company objectives.
  • Create and coordinate training programs for staff technologists in the use of vendor applications.
  • Maintain/update training material and associated record keeping.
  • Maintain and improve performance of imaging workstation applications through regular communication with vendors and service engineers.
  • Maintain basic and advanced PC knowledge of workstation operation systems.
  • Create and update guidelines for clients related to camera and workstation facility requirements.
  • Follow all procedures and best practices related to application software.
  • Maintain an updated reference library of all vendor software.
  • Demonstrate application software and imaging workstations to current and potential Customers.
  • Adhere to Quality Management Procedures (QMP) and Work Instructions (WI) as set by the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Comply with all safety and compliance policies and procedures as it relates to job duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as determined by management.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Current NMTCB or ARRT certification.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • Previous Nuclear Medicine, PET or PET/PET CT applications knowledge and/or training experience.

 

 

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a semi-quiet office setting. Position involves computer and phone work.

 

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE:

There is limited radiation exposure during the performance of job duties when proper protocol is followed. Employees are required to use personal protective equipment.

Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
