The Work Itself
The Senior ALM Consultant is primarily responsible for independently
- Building and managing strong client relationships
- Completing and delivering financial risk management reports
- Working with clients to ensure understanding of risk position and provide guidance on general balance sheet direction or strategy.
The Talent You Bring
The Essential Requirements:
- Financial background – BS/BA in finance, economics, accounting or related field required along with a minimum of 7 years financial experience
- Strong knowledge of fixed income securities and loan valuation
- In-depth understanding of accounting and economics
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel user – lookups, pivot tables, equation building, etc.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Intermediate user in other MS Office products
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment
- Detail oriented, deadline driven with ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Additional skills and experience are a plus:
- Advanced degree and/or certifications such as CFA, FRM, CMA, CTP, CPA
- Modeling experience (FIS Balance Sheet Manager, QRM, KRM, ZM, Plansmith, Profitstars)
- SQL or coding
- Presentation Skills
