What You Will Do
- Support revenue-related month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analysis
- Review customer contracts, monitor deferred revenue schedules, and ensure proper billing alignment with revenue recognition policies
- Prepare revenue-related reports for management, including KPIs, revenue trends, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Assist with external audits by preparing revenue-related documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline revenue recognition processes and improve efficiency.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 2 years of experience in revenue accounting, or a similar role, preferably in the software or technology industry.
- CPA or CPA track preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Netsuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
