Position Summary
This role is part of a new Digital Design Center in Huntsville, Alabama. You'll be joining a growing team at the ground level with the opportunity to help shape how we work. The Senior Dental CAD/CAM Designer is responsible for the digital design and development of high-quality Full Arch dental restorations using advanced CAD/CAM technology. Additionally, in this role you will help train and develop other members of the Design team as well as perform quality checks as needed. This role combines technical precision, dental anatomy expertise, and digital workflow proficiency to create accurate, functional, and aesthetic restorations that meet clinician prescriptions and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design the most complex full-arch and implant cases, including revision work and non-standard configurations
- Train, mentor, and review the work of junior and mid-level designers
- Own quality gate – perform final design reviews before cases leave the team
- Collaborate directly with clinicians on complex treatment planning and design adjustments
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to Design Center leadership
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of dental CAD/CAM design experience, with significant full-arch and implant case volume
- Expert level proficiency in EXOCAD required, experience with 3Shape, implant planning software, or digital denture workflows is a plus
- Deep understanding of complex implant prosthetics, including All-on-X and revision cases
- Proven ability to train or mentor designers with less experience
- Track record of managing quality standards across a team or workflow
- Comfortable collaborating with clinicians on complex or non-standard treatment plans
