Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, developing engaging curriculum, and fostering the academic and social growth of students across various age groups. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, classroom management, and effective teaching strategies to support diverse learners. The Teacher will collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with parents, and implement educational best practices to ensure student success.

Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and specialized subjects such as Montessori or early intervention programs.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children's emotional well-being.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special needs or those requiring additional support in early childhood education or daycare settings.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and informal observations; adjust instruction accordingly.
• Engage in classroom management to maintain discipline and foster an inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating innovative teaching techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Incorporate hands-on activities, tutoring sessions, and physical education to enhance overall child welfare and development.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other relevant documentation in compliance with school policies.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Experience with curriculum development across various subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and special education strategies such as Montessori or preschool experience.
• Proven classroom management skills to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Ability to work effectively with children of different ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• Experience working with students requiring early intervention or behavioral support; familiarity with child welfare standards is a plus.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, tutoring, standardized testing preparation, and classroom experience in daycare or private school settings.
