Under immediate supervision of certified teaching staff, subject
specialists or Program Director of the Preschool. Performs work of
moderate difficulty assisting in the structured education of students.
Assignment may be with students of any grade level and may include
support in specialized learning environments such as computer labs.
Hiring Pay Range
EA Inclusion: \$19.81 \$21.03 per hour, DOE
CARE Activity Leader: \$16.26 - \$17.26 per hour, DOE
FTE: COMBINED FTE 1.0 (40 hours per week)
EA Inclusion: .875 FET (35 hours per week) Monday Friday: 7:45 am 3:15
pm (includes 30 minute unpaid meal break)
CARE Activity Leader: .125 FTE (5 hours per week) Monday/Thursday: 3:15
pm 4:45 pm; Tuesday: 3:15 pm 5:15 pm
Minimum Qualifications Preferred: Associates degree preferred **and**
six (6) months of experience working with children that have special
needs.
Special Requirements: Must possess or have the ability to obtain Level
I-IVPP Fingerprint Clearance card through the Arizona Department of
Public Safety; CPR certificate and First Aid certificate are required
within one (1) year of hire; must be willing to support feeding and
toileting of students, with training.
