Catalina Foothills School District is a Pre-Kindergarten through grade twelve public school district in Tucson, Arizona and we seek a qualified applicant for the position of High School Science Teacher. Responsibilities include: challenging all students to achieve their personal best through rigorous, engaging, innovative progress that develop skills and knowledge for lifelong learning and responsible citizenship using the knowledge of Content Knowledge, Math Proficiency, & Lab Experiment Design & Supervision; Classroom Management & Student Engagement; Technology Proficiency; and Assessment & Feedback. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, Science, or related Science field or foreign equivalent as well as a Secondary Teaching Certificate Arizona Department of Education Science/Chemistry Certification. Must have an Arizona Secondary Certificate (6-12) with "Chemistry" as an Approved Area
Must have 30 semester hours of college coursework in Chemistry
