ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Project Management Engineer to lead and oversee complex engineering projects from concept through completion. This role combines strong technical engineering knowledge with proven project management capabilities to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and leadership skills. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead and manage full lifecycle engineering projects (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
· Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, design, procurement, quality, and construction.
· Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, resources, schedule, and risk assessments.
· Monitor and control project progress and performance using project management tools and methodologies.
· Ensure technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
· Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
· Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder approval.
· Facilitate communication among project stakeholders including clients, team members, and executive leadership.
· Prepare and present project status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
· Mentor junior engineers and project managers, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
· Lead post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field); Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
· Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in CPG.
· Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
· Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
· In-depth understanding of engineering principles and technical documentation.
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiation.
· Flexibility to work weekends and off shifts as required to support project implementation.
