Human Resources Generalist

Cataler North America, a Toyota affiliate, is seeking to add an HR Generalist to the team in Lincolnton, NC.

Hours: Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm

Summary: Supports the front lobby area through professional interactions with visitors both in person and on the phone, while also completing other clerical and administrative functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Facilitates new hire paperwork and background/drug screening process.

Assists with coordination of new hire testing and follow up.

Assists with interview process for hourly positions.

Assists with planning and coordinating company meals and events.

Serves as first person of contact for HR department to field questions and/or assist in referring to the appropriate HR team member.

Responds to the HR Ticket system to provide feedback and support to team members with questions.

Assists with safety glass/shoe voucher program.

Scans documents into Personnel Folders.

Coordinates temporary employee staffing program to include reviewing backgrounds, coordinating new starts, monitoring attendance, and communicating with community agencies as needed to address concerns.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Associates degree required and/or Bachelors Degree preferred; or one to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
