Job Description Summary
- The cGMP Biomanufacturing group is responsible for current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) production activities, including Master/Working Cell Bank production, Upstream cell culture, Downstream protein/mRNA purification, and/or therapeutics production.
This is an entry level position that will begin to acquire the skills to work in a cGMP environment. The position is expected to follow detailed instructions and established procedures with moderate supervision.

I. Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:
- Executes and properly documents cGMP Biomanufacturing activities.
- Stages raw materials/components for use within cGMP Biomanufacturing.
- Performs general housekeeping, equipment cleaning(s), disposal of trash and recyclables, and adherence to 5S standards.
- Supports Biomanufacturing staff with proper completion of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids (JAs) as applicable.
- Maintains effectiveness of Quality system.
- Physical Requirements: This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, stretching, and reaching. Must be able to lift to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Cross-departmental communication and training required.
- Good written and verbal communication required.
- Completes inspections of GMP facility as needed.
- Requires frequent use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Actively participates in team meetings and/or training sessions.
- Works scheduled shift and open to off-shift coverage as needed.
- Supports Supply Chain/warehouse functions based on company needs.
- Accurately cross-reference Bill of Materials against Inventory Management System.
- Other duties as assigned.
II. Position Requirements:
Education:
- Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- General lab equipment experience.
- cGMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP) or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) knowledge.
- Following standard operating procedures (SOP)
Work Hours
*Wednesday-Saturday 0600-1600
Salary : $34,700 - $44,000
