Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely sourcing of materials.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of materials for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate production planning activities to align with project deadlines.
- Utilize Microsoft Access to complete multiple operations within the system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast needs and streamline supply chain processes.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access.
- Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of materials management, inventory control, and logistics.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports for decision-making.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
