Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage, fire restoration, flood recovery, and mold remediation projects.
- Perform cleaning tasks using specialized equipment such as carpet cleaners, power tools, hand tools, and industrial cleaning agents.
- Conduct structural assessments and prepare detailed estimates using Xactimate software to support restoration projects.
- Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection during hazardous material handling such as asbestos or mold abatement.
- Execute demolition, construction, and repair work as needed to restore properties to pre-loss condition.
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the process, providing updates and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Follow strict safety procedures during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist with on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to client needs.
Experience
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with emergency response readiness and safety protocol adherence is essential. 24/7
- Hands-on experience with water damage restoration, flood recovery, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and general construction work is advantageous.
- Knowledge of restoration-specific software such as Xactimate is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles confidently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively during stressful situations.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices including PPE use and respiratory protection protocols.
