About the Role:
Castroville Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Rehabilitation is looking for a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Castroville, TX. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to aid recovery
- Treat orthopedic, sports medicine, and post-surgical rehabilitation cases
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulations
Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Texas state Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain licensure
- Experience in orthopedic, sports medicine, or outpatient rehabilitation preferred
- Strong manual therapy and therapeutic exercise skills
- Excellent communication and patient relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
