Tasting Room Associate – Castoro Cellars
Castoro Cellars is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Tasting Room Associate to join our close-knit team. As a front-line ambassador of the Castoro Cellars brand, you’ll pour tastings, share our story, and support the many moving parts of our dynamic tasting room and event operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming, high-energy environment for all visitors
- Pour and educate guests on Castoro Cellars’ full portfolio of wines
- Share the Castoro Cellars story in an engaging and professional manner
- Assist guests with tastings, bottle purchases, and club sign-ups
- Accurately operate the POS system and handle transactions (cash, card, and club orders)
- Promote and enroll guests into our Wine Club
- Follow all ABC and RBS guidelines for responsible alcohol service
- Restock, merchandise, and maintain cleanliness of the tasting room and displays
- Support daily opening and closing tasks, including till counts and securing the premises
- Fulfill and pack club orders and assist with shipping when needed
Event & Special Service Responsibilities:
- Regularly work on-site and off-site events, including setup, service, and breakdown
- Pour and represent Castoro Cellars at VIP, large group, and special tastings
- Provide polished service and storytelling during private, curated, and high-volume events
- Maintain professionalism and composure in dynamic and fast-paced event environments
Team Support & Flexibility:
- Support seasonal needs, including packing club shipments and assisting on the bottling line
- Be adaptable to shifting priorities within a small, collaborative team
- Willingness to cross-train and contribute wherever needed
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Passionate about wine, spirits, and hospitality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Weekend, holiday, and evening availability required
- RBS certified, or able to become certified within 30 days of hire
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Prior experience in tasting rooms, hospitality, or events is preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
- Part-Time, Non-Exempt Position (Estimated 32 per week)
- Hourly Rate: $16–$18/hour (DOE)
- Additional compensation: Tips and Wine Club bonus
