Position Summary
The Systems & Process Analyst serves as a bridge between business operations and technology. This role partners closely with teams across the organization to analyze workflows, identify operational inefficiencies, and design technical and process-driven solutions that improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
The analyst applies systems thinking, data analysis, and automation to translate business needs into effective tools, workflows, and system enhancements. This role requires both strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and optimize real-world business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze end-to-end business workflows to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Translate operational needs into structured process and system requirements
- Design optimized workflows that align with organizational goals and compliance standards
Systems, Technology & Automation
- Evaluate existing systems, applications, and integrations for effectiveness and gaps
- Design, configure, or support implementation of system improvements and automations
- Build or support internal tools, dashboards, scripts, and low-code/no-code solutions
- Partner with IT and vendors to support system enhancements and integrations
Data, Reporting & Decision Support
- Analyze operational data to support business and technical recommendations
- Develop reporting and dashboards to track performance, efficiency, and outcomes
- Measure the impact of implemented solutions and recommend refinements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand objectives and constraints
- Communicate technical concepts in clear, business-friendly terms
- Support change management by guiding teams through adoption of new systems and processes
Documentation & Governance
- Create and maintain process documentation, system specifications, and SOPs
- Support compliance, audit readiness, and standardization initiatives
- Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and well-documented
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and model complex business processes and technical systems
- Comfort working with data, systems, and technology platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Experience with process mapping, system analysis, or business analysis methodologies
- Familiarity with automation tools, scripting, APIs, or low-code platforms
- Experience supporting system integrations or digital transformation initiatives
- Exposure to regulated environments such as healthcare, finance, or education
