Role Description
- Underwrite $5M–$100M CRE deals (multifamily, mixed-use, development, value-add)
- Build full financial models, sensitivities, and lender sizing
- Prepare lender-ready packages and support credit memos
- Coordinate with originators, lenders, developers, and equity groups
- Manage underwriting from intake → analysis → closing
Qualifications
- 3–7 years CRE underwriting experience
- Strong development & construction underwriting background
- Advanced financial modeling & analysis (Excel, pro formas, DSCR, sensitivities)
- Ability to produce institutional-quality presentations
- High ownership, speed, and attention to detail
- Strong relationships with NYC banks, debt funds, and private lenders
- Deep understanding of lender appetite for $10M–$100M deals
- Ability to match transactions to the right capital source quickly
- Up-to-date knowledge of which lenders are active, their credit boxes, and achievable terms
