Housekeeping Aide – Full-Time, Day Shift | Skilled Nursing Facility

About the Role:

We are currently hiring a full-time Housekeeper to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. In this important role, you’ll help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors by performing a variety of cleaning and sanitizing duties. Your attention to detail helps support infection control and ensures a high standard of care for everyone in our facility.

Shift Hours: 12pm-7pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow daily cleaning schedules and instructions provided by the housekeeping supervisor.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, restrooms (including handicap-accessible and visitor restrooms), therapy spaces, kitchens, common areas, hallways, and administrative offices.
• Perform emergency or unscheduled housekeeping as needed.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect all surfaces including floors, walls, fixtures, vents, furniture, and equipment.
• Replenish restrooms and supply stations with soap, towels, and paper products.
• Remove and rehang curtains, drapes, and dividers as needed for cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in utility closets and storage areas.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience (especially in a healthcare or long-term care setting) is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation and safety.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently.
