Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Label and prepare snacks and nourishments
- Portion desserts, salads, and beverages
- Clean kitchen equipment and maintain sanitary workspaces
- Take out trash and perform general kitchen cleanup
- Support cooks with food prep and portioning
- Follow prep sheets and dietary guidelines for accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous food service experience preferred (especially in healthcare or nursing facilities)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication and reliability
