What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher - K-6 Alternative Classroom-Anticipated January 2026 position at CASTLETON ELEMENTARY?
SVUUSD is seeking a special education teacher to support students and programming at the K-6 level for students with social, emotional and behavioral needs beginning in January 2026. This position is based at the Castleton Elementary School. The special education teacher works with a team of professionals including a School-based clinician, School psychologist, BCBA, and other support staff to plan, program and implement instruction in the least restrictive environment for a small group of students. Small caseload, collaborative team, mentoring and instructional coaching is available for the selected candidate.
