Associate Veterinarian Wanted: Must Love Pets, People, and Avoiding Corporate Nonsense
Georgetown, TX | Full-Time or Part-Time | Zero Corporate Shenanigans
Are you a DVM tired of corporate scripts, pushy wellness plans, and being micromanaged by people who’ve never touched a paw? Come join Castlerock Pet Hospital — a proud family-owned, practice that’s been loving Georgetown's pets (and their humans) since 2001. We’re the kind of clinic where:
- Your opinion actually matters
.- Your name isn’t just on a schedule, it’s on a birthday cake.
- We believe in medicine over metrics.
- And no, we don’t upsell toothbrushes at checkout.
About the Practice:
- One DVM, high-tech team, no corporate chains of command.- No boarding. No retail shelves. No cookie-cutter medicine.
- We have toys: electrocautery, digital X-rays, ultrasound, and even a portable oxygen generator.- Our techs are seasoned pros, not someone’s cousin who “likes animals.”
- Well established loyal clientele that are like family since 2001.
- A Practice Manager and Owner that truly cares about you and your well-being!
Why Georgetown, TX?
- 15 mins from Austin. Just far enough to escape the chaos, close enough for tacos.
- Voted “Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas.” We didn’t make that up.
- A schools, live music, hiking, lakes, and that small-town charm everyone says they want in Hallmark movies.
The Boring (But Important) Stuff:
- Base salary: $120,000–$160,000 (plus a solid signing bonus) Pro-sal could be an option as well!
- Fully paid health/dental/vision including spouse and kids!
- 401(k) with a 3% match (free money!)
- Paid 6 weeks of parental leave
- 2–4 day work week, generous PTO, no on-call, no late-night surprises, NO WEEKENDS!!
- CE allowance and time off to use it
- Licenses, dues, PLIT? Covered.
- Relocation help if you’re not already living in paradise
