Position OverviewCastle Peak Communities is seeking a driven and personable Sales and Leasing Agent to serve our manufactured home communities in Lubbock, Texas. This individual will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, managing the full sales and leasing cycle from initial inquiry through move-in. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong sales instincts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple communities. This role is the key driver of occupancy across our Lubbock portfolio.
ResponsibilitiesSales and Leasing• Market, show, and sell new and pre-owned manufactured homes, guiding prospective buyers through all available inventory across Lubbock communities.
• Lease park-owned homes to qualified residents when a sale is not the right fit, ensuring all vacant homes are actively working toward occupancy.
• Proactively self-generate and manage leads through networking, outreach, call campaigns, online platforms, open houses, and community events.
• Conduct home tours that effectively communicate the features and benefits of both the homes and the community.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of available inventory, local market conditions, competitor communities, and pricing.
• Monitor and respond promptly to all inbound inquiries via phone, email, and web leads.
Applications and Compliance• Process all rental and purchase applications, including running credit and background checks in accordance with company standards and Fair Housing regulations.
• Ensure all sales and leasing practices comply with applicable Texas state regulations, Fair Housing laws, and Castle Peak Communities policies.
• Accurately complete and submit all closing documents, sales agreements, and lease agreements in a timely manner.
• Process Texas title work associated with the sale of manufactured homes; prior TDHCA title experience preferred, though training will be provided.
Move-In and Resident Relations• Generate all required lease documentation and execute move-ins for both sales and leasing transactions.
• Conduct professional and thorough move-in orientations for all new residents, ensuring a positive first experience.
• Follow up with recently moved-in residents to ensure satisfaction and generate referral opportunities.
• Build strong resident relationships to foster community pride and drive word-of-mouth occupancy growth.
Administrative• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect and resident communications in the company's designated tracking systems.
• Complete all required administrative tasks accurately and on time while managing multiple priorities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations and community management teams to develop and refine sales and marketing strategies.
• Maintain an active and current listing of all available homes for sale and lease.
QualificationsRequired:
• Strong sales and customer service skills with a proven track record of success.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of managing a territory independently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation required.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and E-Verify.
Preferred:
• Experience in manufactured housing, multifamily leasing, new home sales, real estate, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Texas manufactured home title work and TDHCA processes.
• Experience processing rental applications and conducting tenant screenings.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience with Rent Manager or similar property management software.
