Description

Café in the Clouds is our ice cream and grab-and-go lunch stand. Located adjacent to the open meadow near Shannon Pond, Cafe in the Clouds offers ice cream, beverages, lunch items such as pizza, wraps and daily specials. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to manage daily operations. They will ensure efficient operations and a pleasant customer experience as part of the overall visitor experience at Castle in the Clouds.

The ideal candidate will be able to stay with us the entire Cafe in the Clouds season, through the end of October

Qualifications

· Must be 18 years or older

· Can handle cash and card payments through our Point of Sale System (Square)

· Managerial Skills

· Friendly, polite and courteous to all patrons

· Ability to work well with others to meet customers’ needs

· Flexibility in schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to

· Managerial Knowledge

o Leading staff in day to day tasks to adhere to customer satisfaction

o Communicating with restaurant manager on ordering, supplies needed and end of day updates

o Ensure that all Café attendants are completing morning set up and evening break down and cleaning to he Castle in the Clouds standards

· Greeting and taking customer orders accurately

o Prepare and serve ice cream orders and or lunch items from menu, to customer’s satisfaction

o Maintain knowledge of any Modifications or dietary information, and support the team to meet guest’s needs

· Comply with established sanitation, personal hygiene and health standards

o Directs employees to prepare food/Ice Cream properly and safely

o Keeps work area clean and neat at all times, maintains and cleans equipment used in food preparation

· Handle cash and card payments through our Point of Sale System (Square)

o Reconcile cash at every shift and make appropriate deposits to Manager on Duty

o Additional duties are assigned by Restaurant Manager
