Job Description:
Castle Aviation is seeking a highly-driven individual who aspires to build flight time flying freight. Full-time Cessna Caravan C208B pilots will be based near the Akron-Canton Airport for day/night cargo services to and from the US and international destinations. Our captains are responsible for the operations of the flight in compliance with FAR 135 and Castle's policies and procedures.
A Cessna Caravan Captain will:
§ Pilot aircraft safely, complying with all FAA, Customs, and airport rules and regulations
§ Report for duty in sufficient time to do preflight inspections and paperwork prior to dispatch time
§ Notify the Chief Pilot whenever the pilot may violate any rule due to being dispatched on a flight
§ Notify the Chief Pilot whenever a medical deficiency exists that would affect the safety of the flight
§ Transport cargo and/or passengers to the required destinations, whether U.S.-based or international, on time and without restriction
§ Work with Customs and provide all necessary documentation
§ Provide dispatch with updates on location, time, paperwork, and aircraft data
§ Communicate effectively with air traffic control as needed
§ Remain up to date with FAA rules, regulations, and procedures
§ Complete required training, flight checks, and/or recurrent training
§ Obtain proper certificates and medical status as needed
§ Utilize the Safety Management System to positively impact the company’s policies, efficiency, and commitment to safety

Rating/Travel Requirements:
- Commercial, Instrument, and Multi-Engine Ratings (or as required)
- Class 2 Medical
- Current US Passport
- Ability to travel to and from Canada, Mexico, and other countries as required without restriction
Time Requirements (required):
- 1000 Total Time
Time Requirements (preferred):
- 1200 Total time
- 500 cross country
- 100 night
- 75 instrument
- Previous part 135 experience
