CMR is a trial firm with a successful civil defense practice, and we are growing and hiring. We represent municipalities and public agencies, transportation entities, Fortune 500 companies and small businesses, in state and federal court.
Experience level is flexible, but you must have strong legal research and writing skills, an understanding of legal billing and the ability to meet an annual billable hours requirement, and the judgment and work ethic to take ownership of projects.
You will work on the core engine of our cases: drafting and supporting motions, building discovery strategy and responses, reviewing evidence, and preparing practical analyses and reports that drive settlement and trial decisions. Salary range is commensurate with experience. The position includes optional health insurance and a 401(k), with the potential for discretionary bonuses and firm-provided technology.
