Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service and assistance throughout their stay
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Conduct night audit procedures, including balancing daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing audit reports
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, reservations, and guest information in compliance with hotel policies
- Answer all incoming calls promptly using proper phone etiquette, directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel
- Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks around the property during overnight hours
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and facilities are well-maintained
- Assist with guest relations by providing local information, amenities details, and resolving issues swiftly to enhance overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with night audit responsibilities
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve a diverse guest demographic effectively
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and proficiency in multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems is preferred
- Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with guest relations practices and hospitality standards to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
- Previous experience working in resort or hotel settings is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
