Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of caster components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Your mechanical knowledge and fabrication skills will ensure each product meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assemble caster components according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and fabrication instructions to guide assembly processes
- Operate fabrication equipment such as welding machines, soldering stations, and machining tools as needed
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to verify dimensions and fit using precision measurement tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the warehouse or manufacturing floor
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of machinery
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, soldering, machining, and fabrication techniques
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in production processes
