Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC lathes and possess a strong understanding of machining processes. This role involves setting up, and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components while ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC lathe according to specifications and production schedules
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations required
- Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers (provided)
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow
- Utilize hand tools and basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role within a manufacturing facility.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and various machining tools including press brake machines and stamping presses.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience with quality control processes and techniques in a factory setting.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
- Previous experience operating forklifts is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Programming ability is a plus
