JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a highly skilled Red Team / Offensive Security Engineer to support the 068 2d Battalion Red Team Detachment (RTD) within a Cyber Effects Team (CET) environment. This role supports advanced offensive cyber operations and adversary emulation activities for a government client. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on penetration testing experience, deep technical expertise, and meets all required clearance and certification requirements. Client acceptance is required for this position. RESPONSIBILITIESConduct red team operations and offensive cyber assessments in support of mission objectivesEmulate real-world adversaries using advanced tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities across enterprise Linux and Windows environmentsExecute penetration testing activities using industry-standard tools and frameworksDevelop clear, actionable reports detailing findings, risk levels, and remediation guidanceCollaborate with government stakeholders and internal teams to enhance cybersecurity postureSupport operations in classified and mission-critical environments QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications include:Active TS/SCI security clearance (required)DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification, including one of the following:CASP CECCNP SecurityCISACISSPGCEDGCIHCCSPLinux Computing Environment (CE) CertificationWindows Computing Environment (CE) CertificationOSCP or GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) certificationBachelor’s degree with 3 years of information technology experience, or High School Diploma with 7 years of information technology experienceDemonstrated experience implementing red team assessment methods, tools, and techniques Preferred Qualifications:Completion of a recognized offensive security or red team training program, such as:Red Team ApprenticeOffensive Methodology AnalysisRed Team OperationsSimilar penetration testing or cyberspace operations coursePython certification or strong Python scripting experienceHands-on experience with Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, and Kali Linux  Corvus Consulting, LLC. provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability status, genetic information, marital status, ancestry, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, and local laws and offers equal opportunity for VEVRAA Protected Veterans. Salary : $80,000 - $94,000
