Role Description As a full-time Content Marketing Intern at Castaway Podcasts, you will support the creation and execution of content initiatives that engage listeners and promote the platform. You will help draft blog posts, social media content, email copy, and in-app messaging that highlight new features, listening trends, and curated podcast collections. On a day-to-day basis, you will assist with content planning, basic research on podcast and creator communities, and updating content calendars and assets. You will collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging with brand voice and user needs, and track basic performance metrics for campaigns. This is an on-site role based in New York, NY, where you will work closely with the team to brainstorm ideas, support events or campaigns, and contribute to community-building efforts.
Qualifications
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to explain ideas clearly and adapt tone for different audiences.
- Foundational skills in Web Content Writing and Writing, with an interest in crafting engaging copy for digital channels.
- Interest or introductory experience in Content Strategy and Content Management, including organizing and scheduling content across platforms.
- Enthusiasm for podcasts, audio storytelling, and social media trends, with a curiosity about how audiences discover and share content.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Basic familiarity with social media tools, analytics dashboards, or email platforms is a plus, as is any experience with community engagement or campus organizations.
