Tact Welder (Entry Level)

Cast-Crete USA, LLC is Florida's leading manufacturer and distributor of precast and prestressed products with branch operations located throughout the state. Our production facility and corporate headquarters are located in the Tampa area.

We are currently seeking applicants to fill an open (Tact) Welder position at our Tampa location. * This position is an assembly line type position and is not very detailed. It only requires approximately 1 year experience performing Tact Welding only.

This position includes working in a fast-paced production welding environment. You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. This may include moving raw material to the production line. Positions require walking and standing for most of the shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ability to set-up a welding machine based on welding procedure specifications for the job

· Efficient and safe operation of manufacturing equipment

· Ability to read shop drawings to weld basic products

· Ensure product quality

· Abide by safety regulations

· Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices

· Work well with others in a team environment

· Reliability and dependability

· Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner

Background and Experience:

· Full time shift

· 1 year welding experience (preferred)

· Mechanically inclined

· Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
