CAST Accounting – Cincinnati, OH (Remote)

Primary Duties

• Preparing tax returns and/or extensions for individuals, nonprofits, partnerships, corporations and trusts
• Year end tax projections
• Tax Research
• Generating trial balances and financial statements
• Creating financial plans and strategies for desired financial goals
• Guiding and advising clients on accounting matters
• Responding to IRS and other taxing authority notices
  
  

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA license
• Proficiency in both tax and accounting related computer software (experience with CCH Axcess, QuickBooks, and Drake Software is a plus)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with other members of the firm
• Completion of Advanced Certification with VITA
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments
