Responsibilities Logistics Management
- Plan, coordinate, and optimize transportation routes for the timely delivery of lumber/millwork products to customers.
- Manage a fleet of drivers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and efficient utilization of resources.
- Work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics operations.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping lumber/millwork products.
- Implement and enforce best practices for inventory management, ensuring accurate and efficient stock control.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of drivers and warehouse staff.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the logistics and warehouse teams.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Generate and analyze reports related to logistics and warehouse performance.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and warehouse activities.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge about windows, doors, and trim.
