INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this job description is to specify the duties of a Laborer/ skilled trades.
We are looking for hardworking, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our growing construction company.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The laborer reports to the Field Supervisor but may receive direction from anyone in a supervisory position with Cassino Building & Development.
REQUIREMENTS
Must speak English well enough to take instructions from the field supervisors or the
Project Manager and communicate with clients. Must understand enough math to verify proper billing of time. Must be able to read and write English well enough to complete and use work orders and instruction manuals
Must have full use of the body and senses to be able to perform physical work
Must be willing to learn & take direction from field Superintendent (this is a potential mentorship position for growth in company)
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (NO DUI)
Able to drive company vehicles as needed
Reliable transportation to work
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to climb and balance on equipment. Must be able to move in tight spaces, bend and stoop around equipment
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to read a tape measure and use basic tools.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work is primarily performed on the job site and is subject to extremes of temperature and humidity. This position requires walking, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists and fingers.
The Laborer will be required to travel to job site locations in all types of weather conditions. The conditions of the client’s premises are not controlled by Cassino
Building & Development. If the conditions are hazardous the Laborer is to call the office for instructions. It is important that all work be done with complete safety.
There will be times during winter when work will be done in semi darkness. Hours will vary but will normally be 40/week.

The physical demands of the position are listed in accordance with the requirements of the American Disabilities Act. Other Requirements: Late evening, early morning, or weekend work may be occasionally required.
The normal workday will be from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with a non paid ½ hour for lunch and 2-15 minute breaks. The working hours may vary due to the demands of each specific job duties
DUTIES
The duties of the Laborer includes but are not limited to:
Repair and service customer jobsites as scheduled by the management
Properly maintain company owned equipment and vehicles
Complete daily work as assigned by management
Maintain job site in a neat and clean condition. Ensure that area is picked up at the end of each job and each day. Pay attention to detail.
Use provided tools and equipment with care, and clean them before checking them back in.
Accurately record hours worked on each project before leaving the job site.
Accurately state all work performed on work orders, before leaving the job site.
Cheerfully greet and talk to clients
Clean equipment as required
Keep management informed of any problems in the performance of the job
Keep management informed of any potential client problems or complaints
Any other task or duty as may be assigned by management.
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE
The Laborer’s work will be deemed to be acceptable when:
Work is completed to the expectations of the clients
Customer complaints are kept at a minimum and resolved quickly

Laborer has a productivity rating of 100% or more. (This means that he/she is billing
100% of his/her time directly to a job on an annual basis)
He/she maintains good working relationships with coworkers
Management is satisfied with the quality and quantity of work performed
Need to take pride in their work

Have a strong work ethic
Are dependable and show up ready to work.
Work well with a team
