Assistant Mercantile Manager

About Us:
Cassidy Station Mercantile is a one-of-a-kind shop featuring thoughtfully curated goods, seasonal favorites, and community-centered experiences. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organized Assistant Mercantile Manager to help us create a warm, welcoming, and memorable shopping experience for every guest.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Mercantile Manager in day-to-day operations of the store
• Assist with scheduling, training, and leading sales associates
• Ensure excellent customer service and cultivate strong relationships with guests
• Manage inventory, restocking, and merchandising displays to reflect seasonal themes
• Process transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures
• Help plan and execute special events, workshops, and promotions
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal
• Step into leadership responsibilities when the Mercantile Manager is unavailable
• Create marketing materials using Canva

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or hospitality management experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Canva experience a must
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings
• Passion for local goods, community events, and creating meaningful experiences
